My grandmother and her second husband did what a lot of older Americans do: they bought a motor home so they could go travelling around the country. The first one they bought was used, and it did well for them for a couple of years.

They decided that if they were going to be travelling so much, they needed a better mode of transportation, so they upgraded to an even nicer motor home, one that cost about as much as their house did.

As happens, they both got older and more infirm, and they now cannot travel at all. When they wanted to sell motorhome they had a hard time doing it themselves. Maybe they should have tried selling it online.
