The winners of the Writers Weekly 24 Hour Short Story Contest were finally posted.  The list is here: http://www.writersweekly.com/contest/winter08winners.html

I’m not on it.

Not honorable mention.  Not even a door prize.

I’ve only read the first paragraph of the winning story and I can tell I was way out of my league.  My story sucked.  Big time.  All those people on that list wrote something better than me.

January 26-27 was the 24 hour contest for Writers Weekly.  I decided to bite the bullet and enter, despite being ill the weekend of the event. 

It turned out to be pretty fun.  I got my entry done and in on time and received a confirmation and told that winners would be posted “in a month.”  That would be today.

Still no results.
